How to Book

The BANAD Festival 2026 will take place from 14 to 29 March 2026. Bookings open on Tuesday 3 February 2026.

Important dates

BANAD Festival 2026 bookings open on 3 February 2026 at 2pm.

Online reservations are available for maximum 5 people at a time.


If you are a larger group, you can find out about places that can be visited by groups on our page Group visits and contact Naïm Hamzaoui with any questions at naim@explore.brussels.

Booking closes at 10 a.m. on the Friday before the weekend in question.

If you haven't booked in advance, you can go directly to the venue, where tickets will be on sale. subject to availability.

How to Book

No, it is not possible to book by telephone or e-mail.

Bookings can be made on the https://booking.explore.brussels/ or by appointment at the office. The office is located at Rue des Liégeois 75, 1050 Ixelles.

The appointment at the office are not not recommended because of the workload involved in opening bookings, we can only welcome you the following week at the earliest. Many places will already be sold out by the time you arrive at our premises.

To make an appointment, please call us on +32 2 319 50 01 Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm. You can also send us an e-mail to info@explore.brussels.

No, since BANAD Festival 2026, you don't need to create an account to book activities.

However, when you make your reservation, you will have the option of creating an account so that you can access your orders more easily at a later date.

Bookings can be made for a maximum of 5 people at a time

This limit of 5 people has been chosen by Explore.Brussels to allow as many people as possible to participate in this exceptional event that is the BANAD Festival.

The number of people must be the same for all visits in a booking.

If you want to take several tours on the same day, don't forget to take into account the distances between the sites, your expected means of travel and, depending on your choices, the frequency of public transport or parking difficulties when drawing up your programme.

Please bear in mind that if you are more than five minutes late, you will be refused access to the visit and your place may be resold. 

During peak periods, a large number of visitors may try to access the site at the same time.

A virtual queue is then put in place to guarantee the stability of the site and equitable access for all.

La queue is an automatic system that regulates access to the site when it is very busy. Once your turn has arrived, you are automatically redirected to the booking platform.

When you connect to the booking site, a virtual queue is created to prevent disruptions or bugs caused by too many people online at the same time.

Once your first reservation is added to your basket, you will have 60 minutes to complete and pay for your order.

Why ? Because during these 60 minutes, the seats are pre-booked for you and therefore guaranteed if you confirm your order.

We understand that this countdown can be stressful. However, it is the best way to ensure that the visits you have pre-booked are secured for you, while also allowing other visitors to do the same.

Never click on the back arrow of your browser when you make your reservation, at the risk of losing your order, as in any e-commerce system. There are return buttons on the site itself for this purpose.

We use the “Mollie” system, a recurring payment system. 

This system allows you to pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), by Bancontact, by KBC/CBC payment button or by Belfius Pay button.

Reservations are only confirmed if payment has been made and you have received a receipt. confirmation e-mail.

No, we do not have a waiting list.

However, in the event of withdrawal on the same day, tickets can be put on sale at the entrance, subject to availability. Tickets can also be sold for cancellations, from 5 minutes after the start of the visit. Once this deadline has passed, no further admissions will be authorised. so as not to disturb the guided tour in progress.

Guided tours

The length of a visit depends on the venue. Most tours last 45 minutes, with a maximum of 1 hour 15 minutes.

Reduced rates, discounted rates & supplements

We have developed a reduced rates policy in order to make interior visits accessible to as many people as possible.

Those eligible for the reduced rate are: 

  • les students under the age of 26,,
  • les ULB and VUB students,
  • les holders of the ULB Culture Card,
  • les people with disabilities,,
  • les job seekers.

This rate is equivalent to 50% of the full ratei.e. 6.50 € for a visit for one person. This rate is independent of the fixed supplement charged by certain venues. 

The reduced rate also benefits from a progressive discount.

If you have booked at the reduced rate when you are not entitled to it, Explore.Brussels will charge you the difference plus a penalty of 50% of the total amount of your order.

ANTE Festival in Brussels, an artistic and cultural event celebrating creativity and innovation.

Yes,beneficiaries of Article 27 can purchase one entry per Article 27 ticket. 

The price of this ticket is 1,25 €. It does not include the fixed supplement charged by certain venues.

Please note: beneficiaries of Article 27 must make a reservation at the office no later than the Wednesday before the chosen activity or go to the venue at the time of the visit (not recommended due to overcrowding).

Children under 12 do not pay but their seats must be reserved via the booking system.

The BANAD Festival applies a discount rate based on the number of guided tours booked for the same person per reservation. This calculation is made for up to a maximum of five tours and is automatic at the time of booking.

For example, a full-price tour costs €13 per tour, and five or more full-price tours cost €9 per tour.

Tickets purchased on-site are not eligible for the discounted rate.

Due to specific constraints, nine venues that open their doors to us require a supplement. This supplement is the same for all visitors (including children). 

The venues concerned are:  

  • Hôtel Solvay (+ €25),
  • Hôtel Max Hallet (+ €15),
  • Old England – Museum of Musical Instruments (+ 5 €), 
  • Hôtel Winssinger (+ €5)
  • Anciens magasins Waucquez [Belgian Comic Strip Centre] (+€3)
  • Hannon House (+ 10 €)
  • Villa Empain - Boghossian Foundation (+ €10)
  • Restoration site of the former house and studio of architect Victor Horta [Horta Museum] (+ 5€)
  • Van Buuren Museum and Gardens (+ 10 €) and
  • Hotel van Eetvelde (+ €5)

Upon presentation of your ticket and without reservation, you will receive free admission to the Objets fair on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29.

In 2026, Explore.Brussels is not offering packages anymore. If you would like to plan your programme before bookings open to the general public, you can become Friend of Explore. As well as supporting our association, your membership fee entitles you to an early booking.
