Rue de Belle-Vue 46, 1000 Brussels

Ernest Blerot was a prolific Art Nouveau architect who often designed series of houses. In just seven years in between the end of the nineteenth century and the early years of the twentieth century, he designed and built around 60 houses in Brussels. His personal style uses floral motifs and blends a variety of decorative features, including sgraffiti, ironwork, woodwork and mosaics. This house was built in 1897, and has been furnished with some pieces of Art Nouveau furniture designed by Victor Horta and Gustave Serrurier-Bovy.
