10. Home of Paul Hamesse
In 1909, the architect Paul Hamesse designed a house for himself to live in, with offices for the building company where he worked with his brothers Georges and Léon. This Art Nouveau corner building has beautiful white and artificial stone façades with many decorative elements inspired by the Viennese Secession. Inside, the original decoration and furniture using the architect's own motifs (stylized roses, elongated ovals, inlaid copper, etc.) have in part been preserved by the house's various owners.
