On 14 and 15 March, come and discover a magnificent example of modernist heritage free of charge: the Huis van de Vlaamse Volksvertegenwoordigers (“House of the Representatives of the Flemish People”), the administrative centre of the Flemish Parliament. This office building was built by the influential architect Victor Bourgeois for the former Postal Cheque Office. During the guided tour, you will first discover the modernist and neoclassical facades. You then enter the huge ticket office. The guides will show you various elements of the old post office building that have been perfectly preserved: the post office counters, the pneumatic tubes, the historic lifts, etc.
Guided tours are led by guides from the Flemish Parliament.
