BANAD Bookshop & Pop-Up Store

During the BANAD Festival, the SchaerBook Bookshop will host an exclusive pop-up store where you can purchase a selection of our architecture books, must-have BANAD goodies (tote bags, umbrellas, soaps, etc.), our walking maps, as well as a rich collection of publications from our partner associations (ARAU, Arkadia, Bruxelles Bavard, and Pro Vélo)… and many other treasures to discover!
SchaerBook is an independent general-interest bookstore, established in a charming space in the Plasky district, at the corner of Avenue Léon Mahillon and Avenue du Diamant, just a stone’s throw from Place des Chasseurs Ardennais, Meiser, and Dailly.
Christine and Laurence, the two booksellers, offer a wonderful selection of books, including children’s literature, as well as stationery, local creations, illustrations, and more.
They aim to share their love of books and make their Art Deco space a haven from the whirlwind of daily life—a welcoming and cozy place where visitors can pause, enjoy reading, and indulge in treats to drink or eat, either to take away or to savor on-site in the few seats reserved for this purpose.
Open Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 to 18:30, and exceptionally on Sunday the 30th.
