07. Brussels Centre for Fine Arts

This Art Deco masterpiece was built between 1922 and 1928, by Victor Horta, who had to work within serious constraints. Laid out around the Henry Le Bœuf Concert Hall, the Palace of Fine Arts covers more than a hectare. The former Sculpture Hall welcomes visitors who pass through it to reach the art exhibition halls which are lit by glass ceilings and lightwells designed by Horta. The Chamber Music Hall, the Terarken Hall and the former Recitals Hall complete this series of rooms used for a wide variety of cultural events
