ART NOUVEAU 1
Edouard Pelseneer, 1910

This house, inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and Charles Rennie Mackintosh, was designed by the architect Edouard Pelseneer and completed in 1910. It served as his home and atelier, and also included a workshop. He had inherited a passion for woodworking from his father Henri who worked as a cabinet maker for Victor Horta, as can be seen in the interior of the house which has been lovingly restored by the current owners.
