Antoine Courtens, 1928 - 1932

Built in 1928 at the corner of Boulevard Général Jacques and Avenue de la Folle Chanson, this remarkable luxury apartment building well deserves being called a palace. Designed by the architect Antoine Courtens in the Art Deco style, the decoration is particularly refined with the use of marble, copper, frosted glass, wrought iron, woodwork, etc. On the top floor a corner rotunda topped by a star-shaped dome, which reflects the seven streets of the Étoile roundabout, opens onto two terraces from which there is a unique view. The building comprises a permanent work by the contemporary architect Philippe Leblanc.
