Huib Hoste, 1933
This modernist-style house overlooking the ponds in Woluwe Park was built by architect Huib Hoste in 1933.
The building evokes the shape of an ocean liner, typical of the modernism of the 1930s.
The house has a number of features typical of this architectural style: a rendered and white-painted façade, a double flat roof, rounded corner windows, steel frames and balconies with railings.
Originally a single-family home, the house was converted and divided into flats in 1970.
