Léon J-J Govaerts, 1899

This townhouse was built in 1894, in a Neo-Classical-influenced style. It was redecorated and converted to the Art Nouveau style in 1899 by the architect Léon J. J. Govaerts, who lived here. The interior retains traces of the original style, mixed with Art Nouveau. Today, the building is run as a day centre for elderly people by the Family House Association.
