Armand Van Waesberghe, 1898

This house was built in 1898, to the design of the architect Armand Van Waesberghe, with several Art Nouveau features. The asymmetric facade is made up of light-coloured bricks, bands of red bricks and blue stone, and is decorated with a sinuous Art Nouveau wrought-iron balcony. The interior creates a welcoming atmosphere with Art Nouveau features, including the newel post on the staircase and the stylised floral designs in the dining room to the rear.
