ART DECO 1
Jules Libois, 1930

This mansion in a rather floral Art Deco style was designed by the architect Jules Libois in 1930 for Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Seulen. The woodwork, fireplaces, wrought iron grilles and magnificent stained glass skylights that provide abundant natural light have been preserved. Today, the building is home to the British International School of Brussels which has been providing education to English-speaking children aged 3 to 11 since 2000. The children benefit from the beautiful setting and add their own touch and drawings, demonstrating how this building is occupied and still appreciated today.
