ART NOUVEAU 1
Victor Taelemans, 1901

In 1901, the architect Victor Taelemans designed an Art Nouveau house that was to become his home and office. Situated on a corner site, it was inspired by the Otlet House completed a few years earlier by Octave Van Rysselberghe. The interior decoration is very varied and blends Art Nouveau and Flemish Renaissance styles, plus a reinterpretation of Art Nouveau by the current owners.
