07. Brussels Centre for Fine Arts

The construction of this major work by Victor Horta, built between 1922 and 1928 in the Art Deco style, was subject to numerous constraints. Centred around the Henry Le Bœuf Hall, the Palais des Beaux-Arts covers more than one hectare. The former sculpture hall welcomes visitors as they make their way to the exhibition rooms, which are bathed in light thanks to the glass roofs and skylights designed by Horta. The chamber music rooms, the Terarken Hall and the former recital hall complete these spaces, which are reserved for a wide range of artistic events.
