27. Roosenboom House

Built at the request of Bernard Louis François Beeckman, the Roosenboom House was designed in 1900 by the architect of the same name. Topped on the top floor by a sgraffito by the painter and decorator Privat Livemont, its façade—which features ironwork whose motifs are echoed in the doormat and letterbox—is marked on the first floor by a magnificent curved bow window. Occupied by a family since September 2024, following extensive restoration, this Art Nouveau masterpiece has just been restored to its original layout, including access to a ‘car storage area’ as envisaged by the client. The meticulous restoration of the interior décor, now nearing completion, will allow you to rediscover the house in all its splendour during this year’s BANAD.
