Léon J-J Govaerts, 1899
This mansion, built in 1894 in a neoclassical-inspired style, was remodelled in 1899 in the Art Nouveau style by the architect Léon J. J. Govaerts, who made it his own home. The interior décor retains traces of past styles blended with Art Nouveau elements. Today, the building houses the community centre of the association ‘La Maison de la famille’, a day centre for the elderly.
