32. Villa Pelseneer

This house, inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and Charles Rennie Mackintosh, was designed by the architect Edouard Pelseneer and completed in 1910. It served as both his home and studio, and also included a cabinet-making workshop. He had inherited a passion for woodwork from his father, Henri, who worked as a cabinetmaker for Victor Horta, a fact evident in the interior of the house, which has been carefully restored by the current owners.
